The Mendocino Art Center’s Artists in Residence (AIR) Program brings both emerging and established artists from all over the country to a unique art center on the rural Northern California coast. The location provides tranquility and inspiration in a community full of local artistic talent.

In addition to providing dedicated studio space and furnished studio apartments, the program provides the freedom to develop at your own pace and pursue interests in other disciplines. Our studios in Fine Art, Jewelry, Ceramics and Fiber Arts are actively used for instruction, production, individual study and casual drop-in open studios.
