MLK Jr. Celebration & Drum Circle with Mamadou Traore and Guests

$10 – $30
Join West African drumming master Mamadou Traore and friends for a drum circle and community meal to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Some drums will be provided, but please bring your own if you have one. Please bring something yummy (food or drink) to share with 6-10 people. Admission is by suggested donation. We suggest between $10-30 per person, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. Donations will support I-House Davis, the musicians, and drum-making communities in Ivory Coast, West Africa.
*You can donate even if you cannot attend the event. Please go to internationalhousedavis.org to donate, and put “Drum Circle” in the note.
