An Evening with Fran Lebowitz

In a cultural landscape filled with endless pundits and talking heads, Fran Lebowitz stands out as one of our most insightful social commentators.
No less an authority than David Sedaris calls Fran Lebowitz “the gold standard for intelligence, efficiency and humor. Now and forever.” Her essays and interviews offer her acerbic views on current events and the media as well as pet peeves including tourists, baggage-claim areas, after-shave lotion, adults who roller skate, children who speak French or anyone who is unduly tan. Lebowitz returns after a raucous 2022 appearance that brought a little bit of New York City to Yolo County. The audience yelled out questions, which Lebowitz riffed on, dismissed, deflected and occasionally answered with quick wit and panache.
