The Davis Wave

Introducing a new monthly dance experience for the city of Davis and beyond! Every first Friday of the month The Wave will be facilitating the best dance experience you didn’t know you needed. 75 minutes of dance to your favorite bops. We’ll weave together some juicy stretching, and then set the vibe to groove like we’re at the best house party in Davis.
Facilitators Holly and Emma are pals who share a love for dance and bringing people together. After many dance parties in their neighborhood they decided it was time to share the magic with the community and host a monthly dance party for the people. The wave is influenced by their respective experiences engaging with dance communities in Seattle and Michigan, and they hope to provide a non-judgemental place for freedom of expression, joyful embodiment and sweet release.
