UC Davis Concert Band
The UC Davis Concert Band, under the direction of Pete Nowlen, performs a program that includes Astor Piazzolla / Horacio Ferrer: Suite from Maria de Buenos Aires, Korean Folk Song / Kosaku Yamada: Arirang and Akatonbo, Joe Hisaishi: Howl’s Moving Castle – Suite for Symphonic Band, Percy Grainger: Colonial Song, John Philip Sousa: Nobles of the Mystic Shrine March, and John Mackey: Xerxes. The evening also features a performance by the Yolo Community Band.
