Songwriting Summer Camp

Youth professional songwriting workshop! (Pop/rock/multi-genre) Students learn songwriting fundamentals (song structure, lyrics, melody) and leave with a recorded MP3 of an original song they’ve written. Taught by local musician Ginger Pennington (frontwoman of SF rock band Local Bylaws, MFA in Creative Writing, Davis substitute teacher). Ages 9-15, maximum 6 students per session.
