Roni Jean carves out a unique niche with a blend of Haunted Indie Rock, Dreampop, and Shoegaze in Sacramento, CA. Their music weaves lush, dynamic soundscapes with a melodic melancholy that always carries an undeniable edge. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sir Chloe, Wisp, and Radiohead, Roni Jean moves seamlessly between moments of delicate vulnerability and explosive, powerful expression.

Bloom Ritual; from my rat infested studio to your ears. From an alternative foundation, Bloom Ritual bleeds into adjacent genres such as psychedelic, shoegaze, indie rock and post-hardcore. The latter sound is more easily recognizable in the upcoming EP release, whereas the band’s previously released tracks, such as “Heaven” and “Fish Bowl,” are closely tethered to the ethereal shoegaze genre. It’s psychedelic rock that doesn’t try hard to be psychedelic; it just seems to end up there after all the genres blend together.

Valley Taylor; Valley Taylor makes songs, drawings, videos and other things in El Cerrito, California. The music moves somewhere between Indie Rock, lo-fi Folk and Ambient Music, usually built from guitars, old sounds, field recordings and whatever else happens to make its way in. Sometimes it becomes a record. Sometimes it becomes a drawing or a little film. Sometimes it just lives on the internet somewhere.
