Inner Nature, Roni Jean, & Valley Taylor (Concert & Costume Party)

A (post)Halloween costume party featuring Inner Nature, Roni Jean and Valley Taylor. Costume not required; but best costume wins a 3 band merch package!

Inner Nature is the work of Casey Groat from Sacramento, CA. Having started out as just a kid with an interest in making noises with the computer, the project has matured into themes such as love and loss, as well as experimenting with sampling and songs with meaning and purpose. Artists such as Washed Out, Toro Y Moi, Small Black and Neon Indian are a big influence on the sound.

Roni Jean carves out a unique niche with a blend of Haunted Indie Rock, Dreampop, and Shoegaze in Sacramento, CA. Their music weaves lush, dynamic soundscapes with a melodic melancholy that always carries an undeniable edge. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sir Chloe, Wisp, and Radiohead, Roni Jean moves seamlessly between moments of delicate vulnerability and explosive, powerful expression.

Valley Taylor makes songs, drawings, videos and other things in El Cerrito, California. The music moves somewhere between Indie Rock, lo-fi Folk and Ambient Music, usually built from guitars, old sounds, field recordings and whatever else happens to make its way in. Sometimes it becomes a record. Sometimes it becomes a drawing or a little film. Sometimes it just lives on the internet somewhere.
