Virtual Course: Turkish Earthquakes with Dr. Verosub
Osher Lifelong Learning at UC Davis is hosting a FREE Zoom lecture by Professor of Earth Sciences, Ken Verosub, Mon. March 13 at 1 p.m.
Just two weeks before the February 20 earthquake in Turkey, Dr. Verosub was there, observing the seismic resistance of structures in the region, among other things. Verosub will share observations and material in a 90-minute lecture on the February 20th quake and recent aftershocks in southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria.
