Shimon Attie is a multidisciplinary artist whose art explores how contemporary media may be used to re-imagine relationships between space, time, place and identity. His practice includes site-specific installations, immersive multiple- channel video and mixed-media installations, and he has received more than 25 commissions to create new works of art in more than 10 countries around the world. Attie is the spring quarter teaching artist in residence in The California Studio: Manetti Shrem Artist Residencies.
