On Saturday, September 16, Stories on Stage Davis will open its 10th season at the Pence Art Gallery in downtown Davis. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the event starts at 7:30. The event is free to attend and donations at the door are much appreciated.
At the event, two local actors will read two stories by local authors. An excerpt from the novel Rhino Dreams by Kathryn Williams and Carolyn Waggoner will be read by returning actor Patricia Glass, and the short story “Talking Fowl with My Father” from The Bigness of the World by Lori Ostlund will be read by returning Stories on Stage Davis actor Jessica Laskey. There will be beverages, sweets, and opportunities to purchase books and get them signed by the authors!
Stories on Stage Davis is a sponsored project of YoloArts, a non-profit arts organization, and is supported by the 2022 City of Davis Arts Grant (funded by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, a California Non-Profit Corporation).
