For the 2017 Annual Convention, Americans for the Arts is heading to San Francisco to explore this iconic arts destination and to discuss the pressing issues of equity, community building, and the creative life. With a vibrant culture and history of experimentation, San Francisco has long been a haven for artists and innovators. On the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, join us in helping transform our communities and organizations, and discover what makes San Francisco such a culturally vibrant and creative city! The Convention takes place June 15-18, 2017 – visit http://convention.artsusa.org for more!

We have a set of scholarships dedicated to supporting the attendance of California-based artists and cultural workers. Thanks to the generous support of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the California Arts Council, and the San Francisco Arts Commission, you can take part in over 30 breakout sessions, fantastic keynotes, parties, and amazing networking with your national peers for free or at a reduced cost.

So here’s the thing: the deadline is THIS COMING FRIDAY, March 3 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). You can’t get a scholarship if you don’t apply! And you don’t have to be a member to be eligible for this opportunity!

For more information, visit http://convention.artsusa.org/scholarships#other. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco!
