Call to Artists!
The Pence’s Slice exhibit, now in its 6th year, is open to California artists and showcases work in all media that is conceptually thoughtful, technically skilled, and representative of contemporary trends in art. Work may be in any medium, but must be 3’ wide maximum or under for wall work. There are no size restrictions for three-dimensional work. Work must not exceed 100 lb, and be ready to install. Accepted work should be original, completed within the past five years, and remain at Pence Gallery during the entire exhibit. Applicants must submit between 1-3 images of work for review, along with an artist statement, at www.callforentry.org, and pay a fee of $30/$35 for non-Pence members.
