105th Annual Capay Valley Almond Festival
February 23, 2020 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come join the fun at the 105th Annual Capay Valley Almond Festival being held Sunday the 23rd in the 5 small towns of Capay Valley. It’s a day of fun and food and enjoying the blossoms in bloom. They are right on schedule !
Each town has lots of activities:
Esparto – The local FFA pancake breakfast starts at 7, next door the Esparto Regional Library will host a great book sale with bargain prices. Across the
street is a beautiful car show. The park is full of vendors -selling crafts and food.
Visit the Esparto Chamber booth in the park for more information. Music in
the park: 10:00-1:00 Desert Dan;1:30-4:30 Jessica Malone.
Capay – Music and food at the Road Trip Bar & Grill
Brooks – Capay Valley Vineyards will be open from 12-5. Stop and say hello. Picnic tables available – bring your goodies purchased elsewhere and enjoy with a glass of wine.
Brooks – Seka Hill Olive Mill -music, olive oil and all things olive.
Guinda – Petting zoo and pony rides, local crafts, and homemade goodies and lunch at the Grange Hall. BBQ oysters at the volunteer fire house. Music by the Capay Valley Chorus and new this year “Group Therapy” playing from 11-2.
Commons Farm Kitchen and bar will be open 10-6 on festival day.
They will have John Emery Dodds and the Unconventionals and Mike and the Mooncats (12-4)
Guinda County Park by the creek on Rd 57 will be open.
The Corner Store has snacks, essentials, and local products.
Rumsey – Blue grass music, wood fired pizza, pork sliders, local crafts and farmers market , art show and childrens play area at the Rumsey Hall.
