15th Annual Art of Painting in the 21st Century Exhibition and Conference

The John Natsoulas Gallery is proud to announce the upcoming annual exhibition and conference
dedicated to uplifting the traditions of painting. The exhibition will be open from October 2 to November
2, and the conference will take place on October 12.
The Art of Painting in the 21st Century is an annual conference and exhibition in its 15th year. It is geared
towards nurturing dialogue on contemporary painting and the shared ideas that define current trends in the
field. The exhibition is co-curated by John Natsoulas and John Seed. Their joint vision brings together
artists who are at various stages in their careers, but all of these painters show a dedication toward the
medium. Whatever their subject, each artist takes full command of the brush.

Many painters work alone, an isolating process that deprives the artist of thriving debate until the work is
shown. In order to bring people together, the John Natsoulas Gallery will host an all-day conference,
featuring lectures and a panel discussion with top artists. Don’t miss this opportunity to join other
like-minded artists in a day dedicated to painting! The registration is free for the first 50 people!
Come hear lectures by Ian Harvey, Danielle Muzina, and Jerald Silva. Join us for the panel discussion
moderated by Bill Maul, with Patrick Siler, Maija Peeples-Bright, Laurelin Gilmore, and Nimah Gobir.
The opening reception for the exhibition will immediately follow the conference, at 7pm on October 12.

Opening Hours:

Wednesday and Thursday: 11am – 5pm Friday: 11am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday: 12pm – 5pm
