This exhibit contains portraits of insects found in the North Davis Channel. After watching UC Davis Professor of Entomology Louie Yang’s Monarch/Milkweed Monitoring crew establish several hundred milkweed colonies at the North Davis Channel, Snyder began photographing the arthropod life on the plants. He documented insect behavior and their interactions with other species on their host plants. He is grateful to the UC Davis Bohart Museum of Entomology for the frequent assistance of its remarkable staff and associates.
