An Evening with Kim Stanley Robinson
Winters Friends of the Library are excited to announce a special appearance by renowned author Kim Stanley Robinson, winner of the Hugo Award for Best Novel, the Nebula Award for Best Novel and the World Fantasy Award. Robinson’s 2020 novel The Ministry for the Future, which offers a vision of global cooperation to combat climate change, was named by former president Barack Obama as one of his favorite books of the year. Robinson will discuss what he has learned since writing that book, and may give a hint about what he is working on now.
Attendees are invited to bring copies of his books for signing after the talk.
