Founded in 1979, Z Specialty Food is home to Island of the Moon Apiaries and Moon Shine Trading Co., all based at The Hive, the first varietal honey and mead tasting room of its kind. The HIVE features over 30 unique varietal honeys from across the world, in addition to expansive pollinator gardens, a relaxing outdoor courtyard, a full service restaurant, and a selection of meads from around the country.
