Capay Valley Grown Open Farm Day brings farmers and visitors together for a day of exploration, learning, and celebration. On October 4, 2026, farms across the valley will open their gates to guests looking to connect with the land, meet growers, and discover the people and practices that make Capay Valley agriculture thrive. Open Farm Day is self-guided — explore at your own pace. This hands-on event is perfect for families, food lovers, agricultural learners, and anyone curious about where their food comes from.

Participating Farms include:
Polestar Farm – soap making workshops, farm tours and farm stand open
Vitis & Ovis – birds, bees & pollinator workshops, farm tours and farm stand open
Grumpy Goats- Olive oil tasting, olive harvester demos
Capay Hills Orchards- orchard tours, stone ground almond butter demos
D&G Pumpkin Patch – Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Succulent workshop, coffee truck
Suntracker Farm – farm tours and farm stand open
The event is FREE but an RSVP is encouraged so we know how many people plan to attend AND so we can send you the map directly (will be available by September 15).
