City of Davis Annual 4th of July Celebration

The City of Davis will host a free celebration in honor of Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Community Park (203 East 14th Street). The schedule and activities include, but are not limited to:4:00 – 9:30 p.m.: Snacks and treats available for purchase from local non-profit groups
4 p.m. – 8 p.m.: A free game zone coordinated by Discovery Christian Church
6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Live music, coordinated by the Davis Live Music Collective, featuring The Gold Souls at 6:30 p.m. and The Stone Foxes at 8:00 p.m.
9:35 p.m.: A 15-minute fireworks display (This display is the only safe and legal use of fireworks that is allowed in Davis. For public safety, a City ordinance prohibits the use or discharge of fireworks or any substances designed for pyrotechnic display. The sale of any type of fireworks within the City of Davis boundaries is also prohibited.)
Snacks and Treats are available for sale from local non-profit organizations. Please consider supporting them at the event.
Vendors will also be selling water and other beverages but attendees are encouraged to bring their own water or drinks.
