Discover the Flyway Teacher Workshop

Yolo Basin Foundation is offering a one-day Teacher Workshop focusing on wetland education. The workshop features field activities and wetland habitats in the context of the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. This outdoor, interactive workshop prepares educators to bring students on a Discover the Flyway field trip. The next Teacher Workshop will be held on Saturday, January 28, at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters in Davis.
Educators who attend the one-day workshop will participate in hands-on demonstrations and receive information about the history of Yolo Basin Foundation, the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, the Discover the Flyway school program science and history curriculum, and activities for use in class. All activities are correlated to state teaching standards.
If you or a teacher you know might be interested in this workshop, we still have spaces available! Workshop capacity is limited and pre-registration is required. The $40 registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and materials.
