PURPOSE
The purpose of the Friends is to assist the Mary L. Stephens Branch of the Yolo County Library, located at 315 E. 14th St., Davis in efforts to raise funds, plan for expansion of physical facilities, develop the Library’s book and eBook collections, encourage reading programs for children, and to promote the Library as a cultural center for the city of Davis. Funds are earned through our sponsored sales of donated books, media, games, puzzles, and magazines.
The Friends have periodic sales at the Library’s Blanchard Room, as well as an ongoing sale of books and magazines in the Library Reading Garden during Library hours. Additionally the Friends offer on-going daily sales at their bookstore, Logos, downtown.
