Honey and Mead Tasting

Mead, a beverage made by fermenting honey, is one of earth’s oldest alcoholic beverages. There is no better way to understand mead than to taste honey alongside it. Different honeys can impart distinctive flavors when fermented. Explore how three varietal honeys affect the taste of three different meads with Amina Harris, The HIVE’s Queen Bee. Accompaniments will be provided to round out the spread.
