Lunar New Year Craft Time

The Lunar Year of 2025 is the Year of the Snake according to the Chinese Zodiac Signs. The snake is the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese Zodiac and is associated with wisdom, charm, elegance, and transformation. People born in the Year of the Snake are said to be intuitive, strategic, and intelligent.
To celebrate this Lunar Year of the Snake, Yolo County Library is providing giveaway crafts at all eight branches and holding events at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library and the Arthur F. Turner Community Library.
The craft supplies will make two paper chain snakes and three paper fortune cookies. These crafts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
