Native Plant Renaissance at PCFA Site 1

January 13 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Free

Join us on January 13th from 9:30AM-12:30PM to revegetate Putah Creek Fishing Access Site 1 with native plants! This site was formerly filled with non-native Arundo donax which has since been mostly eradicated. This is a collaborative project between Putah Creek Council and the Yolo Resource Conservation District.

All necessary equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. This event is open to all community members regardless of skill and previous experience! We will teach you how to use the tools and the best method for planting. All ages are welcome, but a guardian is recommended for children under 13.

Putah Creek Fishing Access Site 1 is located about 4 miles west of Lake Solano Park, and 1 mile east of Canyon Creek Resort off of Highway 128.

For any questions about this event please contact Maddie Galal ([email protected]).
