NHM Concert Series: Bomba Fried Rice

September is National Honey Month! We’re celebrating BIG this year with a FREE concert every Saturday from September 10-24, 2022.
Bomba Fried Rice is a diverse ensemble from people all around the world and the community of Davis. Recognized as a prominent local and unique music ensemble, they play Latin genres ranging from Salsa, Rock, Reggae, Spoken Word, Cumbia, Mambo, and Ska, merging cultures and styles of music. The band began in 2013 mainly composed of students, mostly immigrants and peoples of color, to promote art for the diverse Latin(x) community. They invite members from all over the world, bringing down cultural walls by the virtue of dance and feeding the local communities with music, activism, and joy. In, 2015 Bomba Fried Rice won a SAMMIE (Sacramento Music Award) for Best World Music Ensemble.
