Description
For Parents and Guardians of 5th & 6th Graders – a fun and supportive evening gathering every 1st Friday.
Let’s all get together once a month for a time of fellowship and devotion! Let’s gather over food & talk about our challenges & highlights of parenting & teaching our 5th and 6th graders, while forming a closer community/connection.
During this time, we will also do a devotional together: “Deep Roots” by Godfrey. Instead of doing the reading and lessons weekly, we will do them monthly when we meet. Finally, each of us will have an opportunity to bring a ‘food for thought’/tip. It can be as simple as a recipe for a family meal throughout the week.
If you need to bring your kids, they are welcome to stay in room 6 watching a movie, while we gather in room 5. The rooms adjoin with connecting doors.
