The Pence Gallery organizes several key events and festivities for the community throughout the year, like our annual Art Auction. These special events are an essential part of our fundraising and help us bring amazing displays of art year-round to the public.

SEPTEMBER 8-23 PREVIEW EXHIBIT

The Pence Gallery’s annual Art Auction offers the best in contemporary art, all up for display at the Gallery, and online for silent auction bidding. Preview fantastic sculptures, paintings, photography, textiles, jewelry, and more by 130+ regional artists online at pencegallery.cbo.io and at the Pence starting September 8. Bidding opens September 10 at midnight and closes September 23 at 8 PM PST.

Join us for our Art Auction Party on Saturday, September 23, from 6 – 8:30 PM, and enjoy delicious food by Dos Coyotes Border Café and Nugget Markets, wine by Fiddlehead Cellars, live music, gift baskets, and bidding finale! Event tickets are available beginning 8/23 at www.pencegallery.org, or at the Pence, and are $35 for Pence members & $45 for non-Members.

According to Bazooka is a lively and unique quintet performing original music inspired by California’s vibrant musical landscape. Blending genres into irresistibly catchy tunes, their timeless sound draws from American roots music like blues, rock, jazz, and country. Featuring guitar, accordion, violin, upright bass, and drums, A2B’s songwriting is full of melody, engaging musical interplay and relatable observations of everyday life. Songwriter Richard Urbino is known for his mastery of song-craft and keen reflections. Together with René Martucci’s smooth alto vocals and the diverse talents of Jamie Knapp, Daphna Rahmil and Don Johnston, these five musicians bring an intoxicating energy to each show. The result is a unique sound and an inviting musical experience.
