UC Davis Symphony Orchestra: “Kinetic Energy”
Featuring Christian Baldini as director and conductor. This Kinetic Energy program evokes the physical energy of Stravinsky’s Petrushka ballet and explores the energy of memory in George Walker’s Lyric for Strings as well as the sonic energy processed by Alejandro Civilotti’s own cochlear implant in his composition for cello and orchestra, Auris Concertum.
