Village Dance is a somatic journey through music and movement. We strive to co-create an inclusive space for everybody. To create a meditative environment, we ask that the dance floor remains shoe-free, conversation-free and substance-free. Please arrive on time to experience the whole event! As always, we are incredibly grateful for all the hands that make this event possible!
Schedule:

6:15pm – Doors Open
6:30pm – Opening Workshop with Tamara Vodovoz
7:00pm – Dance Journey with Lil Fish
9:00pm – Closing Circle

Lil Fish
Lil Fish is a French DJ and electronic music producer whose
sonic universe continues to expand over the years.
He skillfully navigates between tracks tailored for the dancefloor—
driven by powerful, melodious, and organic bass music—and
more introspective, mid-tempo compositions that immerse the
listener in dark, raw, and emotionally deep atmospheres.
What truly sets Lil Fish apart is his unique ability to blend modern
rhythms with traditional sounds from Asia or Eastern Europe. This
fusion invites us on a genuine mystical and sensory journey,
oscillating between light and darkness, tribal energy and
meditative reverie.

Tamara Vodovoz
Tamara, originally from Colombia, pursued her passion for the well-being of living beings through Veterinary Medicine. Her academic journey took her to the University of California, Davis, where she earned a master’s and Ph.D. in epidemiology and Comparative Pathology.
Simultaneously, Tamara has been a dedicated yoga student since her teenage years and a teacher for the past 13 years, advocating for the profound benefits of yoga for individuals from all walks of life. As a yoga instructor, she blends scientific understanding with holistic approaches, incorporating myofascial release, nervous system regulation, and self-massage techniques.
Tamara is also very enthusiastic about Thai massage, a partner practice emphasizing the Buddhist concept of Metta (loving kindness) to heal our sense of separation and co-regulate emotions. She has been studying Thai Massage since 2010, traveling to Thailand and studying with inspiring teachers. She has been offering traditional Thai Massage and table Thai massage at Dynamics Davis since 2018.
Her journey reflects a blend of scientific inquiry, spiritual exploration, and a commitment to fostering interconnectedness. Through her work and teachings, Tamara inspires others to deepen their connection with themselves and the world.
