Exhibit features exquisite African ceremonial textiles, Miao costumes from southwest China, & various Japanese kimonos displayed alongside contemporary textile work. these aesthetically unique objects convey a cultural crossroads in the world of design. 12p–4p. THE ARTERY. Long-time Artery members, Sharon McCallum and Lucy B. Della Rosa display their work on artistic hats and scarves using a variety of techniques – weaving, felting, knitting, and crochet. 10a—6p. Free

DMTC. A hilarious musical smash underwritten by Georgia Paulo, set in the 1590s. Brothers Nick & Nigel Bottom dream of writing a hit play, but struggle to outshine a rival Renaissance rock star.
