THRU DEC 1. UC DAVIS DESIGN MUSEAM (CRUESS HALL, ROOM 124). Exhibit features exquisite African ceremonial textiles, Miao costumes from southwest China, & various Japanese kimonos displayed alongside contemporary textile work. these aesthetically unique objects convey a cultural crossroads in the world of design. 12p–4p. THE ARTERY. Long-time Artery members, Sharon McCallum and Lucy B. Della Rosa display their work on artistic hats and scarves using a variety of techniques – weaving, felting, knitting, and crochet. 10a—6p. Free
THRU DEC 2. JOHN NATSOULAS GALLERY. An exhibition featuring 365 ceramic rabbits, each one uniquely capturing a different reflection of the human experience. Aguirre, a celebrated ceramic artist known for depicting the human condition, is donating proceeds from the collection to the UCLA Brain Cancer Research Center in honor of her daughter, Kailei. Free

TANA WOODLAND. Family workshops facilitated by regional artists including Elyse Doyle-Martinez, whose work is included in Malaquias Montoya & the Legacies of a Printed Resistance. Day of the Dead-themed activities include calaca printing, papel picado, cempasúchil stringing & more. 11a–2p. Free
MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. Natsoulas’ humorous, large-scale figurative ceramic pieces are regularly exhibited and are in 15 museums’ permanent collections, including a large sculpture recently acquired by San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In 2004, he was named “One of the Top 100 Craft Artists living in the USA today” by the Smithsonian. Books will available for purchase. 1p–2:30p. Free
