DESCRIPTION:It’s baaaaaaack… come have some holiday fun while supporting a great cause…mark your calendars!\n\n\nThe model train display will be available for viewing during the holiday season at the Amtrak train station at 840 Second Street in downtown Davis (southeast corner of the\nstation).\n\n\n\nSponsored by the Davis Sunrise Rotary Club (davisrotary.org) and the Davis Model Train Club\, admission is free. Any donations received will be directed to local charitable programs.\n\n\nThe electric train display will be open on Saturdays\, November 19 through December 24\, and January 7. The display hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on all dates\, and features two\nlayouts (Lionel O and HO gauges) with interactive components for children as well as examples and history of local Davis points of interest.

DESCRIPTION:Alan Menken’s “A Christmas Carol” is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’s most well-known story. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving\, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past\, Present and Future.
