SUMMARY:Alan Menken’s A Christmas Carol (DMTC)
DESCRIPTION:Alan Menken’s “A Christmas Carol” is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’s most well-known story. Thanks to their guidance\, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful “Happy Christmas” before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him. \nDirected by Jan Isaacson\nChoreographed by Jan Isaacson\nMusical direction by Boris Karpuk \nFor all families and ages! \n\nNovember 11 through December 4\, 2022\n\nFridays at 7:30pm (Nov 11\, Nov 18\, Nov 25\, Dec 2)\nSaturdays at 7:30pm (Nov 12\, Nov 19\, Nov 26\, Dec 3)\nSundays at 2:00pm (Nov 13\, Nov 20\, Nov 27\, Dec 4)\n\n\nTickets\n\n$18 General\n$16 Students/Seniors (55 & over)\n$14 each for groups of 10 or more\nNote: each ticket is subject to a $2 per ticket facility fee\n\n\n\nDirected & Choreographed by Megan Richmond \nMusical Direction by Montana Monce \n

SUMMARY:Kids’ Dungeons & Dragons Drop-In
DESCRIPTION:Kids Ages 9–15\nJoin us every Saturday at noon for a fun two-hour Dungeons and Dragons adventure. \nSpaces are limited so please secure your tickets in advance \nTo sign up for a specific day please get a ticket for that day. \nThe Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game is about storytelling in worlds of swords and sorcery. Like games of make-believe\, D&D is driven by imagination. It’s about picturing a crumbling castle in a darkening forest and imagining how a fantasy adventurer might react to the challenges that scene presents. \nIn this fantasy world\, the possibilities are limitless. \nUnlike a game of make-believe\, D&D gives structure to the stories—a way of determining the consequences of the adventurers’ actions. Players roll dice to determine whether their attacks hit or miss and whether their characters can scale a cliff\, roll away from the strike of a magical lightning bolt\, or pull off some other dangerous task. Anything is possible\, but the dice make some things more probable than others. \n

SUMMARY:Family Dungeons & Dragons
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Family D&D! \nEach $20 ticket covers one parent and one child. Please reserve your space in advance. \nIn this beginner friendly group Parents can play with their kids and have a great time with other families for fun D&D one-shots and Mini-Campaigns. \nHave questions? For more info please email info@daviscardsandgames.com \nThis event will be run by Stephen Gordon and Jacob Johnson. \nAbout Stephen Gordon: \nI started GMing back in 2000 with D&D 3rd Edition\, experimenting with running modules and totally improvising adventures from scratch. Since then I’ve kept up with running games of D&D (even 4th Edition) and branched out into as many other RPGs as I can convince my friends to try. \nThe players matter a lot more than the game to me\, with the right group any RPG is incredible. I love running Dread and other rules light RPGs that focus on atmosphere and narrative. As a player\, I’m a fan of anything Powered by the Apocalypse\, and I have a major soft spot for Lancer because when else can I pilot a mecha and punch a kaiju in the face? A friend once described my style as asking “What’s the most exciting thing that could happen next?” and I think that’s pretty accurate. I’m always trying to find ways to say yes to my players\, and give them chances to do cool stuff. When I do challenge my players I try to do it in ways that don’t take away their agency. When I’m not reading RPG rulebooks for fun\, I like trying new board games\, watching Star Trek\, and playing Monster Hunter. Professionally\, I’m a freelance technical writer and RPG designer\, and I’m currently in the process of going back to school to become a therapist.
