Each group brings a unique energy\, with varying abilities and desires\, so no two weeks will be exactly the same! \nWe have alternating week-long day camps for 5-12 year olds in Sacramento (William B. Pond)\, Folsom Lake\, and Lincoln. All camps will run from 8 am to 2 pm\, with a flexible drop-off window from 8-8:30 am. Tuition is $310/week. \nWe also have several weeks of Little Coyotes Summer Camp for ages 3-6 at William B. Pond and Folsom Lake. Little Coyotes Summer Camp will run from 9 am to 2 pm\, with a flexible pick-up window from 1:30 pm – 2 pm\, and tuition is $310/week.

To get in early\, join or renew by Feb. 28 at the library or at wfol.org/join. \nAs an added bonus\, students from the Winters High School agriculture program will have a wide variety of plants available for purchase\, including tomatoes\, peppers\, squash\, cucumbers\, herbs\, flowers\, and other seasonal starts\, along with hanging baskets. \nAll proceeds benefit the Winters Community Library.

DESCRIPTION:Davis Forest School’s all-outdoors preschool/kinder program for 3-6 year olds gives children the opportunity to learn and play in the rhythm of the seasons\, while building friendships\, resilience\, and a deep sense of belonging in nature. Like we often say\, children have the rest of their lives to be indoors\, so let’s keep these early years wild and in connection with the land. \nFor the 2026-2027 school year\, we are excited to offer all five days (Monday-Fridays) in Davis and Sacramento. Families will have the flexibility to choose which days work best for their families. We are also delighted to share that we will have a Folsom location for Little Coyotes this upcoming year! \nJoin us for one of our three upcoming Open Houses\, where we’ll welcome new families\, walk the land together\, and share the heart of our work. DESCRIPTION:The Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre invites the community to join them for this year’s Davis Dance Project Concert\, Dance & the Art of Living IRL (in real life)\, which will explore the wonderful nature of dance in keeping a person “in real time” and the effect that has on our brains\, our sense of being\, and our connections with others. \nThe concert begins with a lecture-demonstration by Pamela and dancers from the Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre\, PTDT Apprentice Company\, The Third Stage\, and Light Ballet Company. \nTo show the audience how these ideas play out across different technical and cultural styles\, the lecture-demo will be followed by dance performances from the PTDT companies\, and special guests: Devi Varma (Bharatanatyam)\, Davis Red Maple Cultural Connection (Chinese Cultural Dance)\, and SoNE1 (UC Davis’ K-pop dance group). \nTickets:\n• FREE for kids 12 and under (must be accompanied by an adult)\n• $10 General Admission (everyone over age 12) \nThe Davis Dance Project will take place on Saturday\, March 7 @ 6pm and Sunday\, March 8 at 2pm. \nAll performances will take place at the Louise H. This is a drop-in program for ages 5-12. DESCRIPTION:The Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre invites the community to join them for this year’s Davis Dance Project Concert\, Dance & the Art of Living IRL (in real life)\, which will explore the wonderful nature of dance in keeping a person “in real time” and the effect that has on our brains\, our sense of being\, and our connections with others. \nThe concert begins with a lecture-demonstration by Pamela and dancers from the Pamela Trokanski Dance Theatre\, PTDT Apprentice Company\, The Third Stage\, and Light Ballet Company. \nTo show the audience how these ideas play out across different technical and cultural styles\, the lecture-demo will be followed by dance performances from the PTDT companies\, and special guests: Devi Varma (Bharatanatyam)\, Davis Red Maple Cultural Connection (Chinese Cultural Dance)\, and SoNE1 (UC Davis’ K-pop dance group). \nTickets:\n• FREE for kids 12 and under (must be accompanied by an adult)\n• $10 General Admission (everyone over age 12) \nThe Davis Dance Project will take place on Saturday\, March 7 @ 6pm and Sunday\, March 8 at 2pm. \nAll performances will take place at the Louise H. Their music lifts the stories and shapes the emotional arc of the evening. Earlier songs invite introspection and emotional depth\, gradually moving toward joyful celebration. The central role of music in the event mirrors its central role in Filipino culture. \nWhile rooted in Filipino culture\, the experience is designed to be meaningful for people of all backgrounds. Life can also be vibrant\, joyous and transformative. It’s far from simple\, but there is a certain kind of harmony to it all. That harmony is sometimes most apparent when we realize that\, despite our differences\, we are all quite similar. In nature\, many kinds of animals live side by side. Can humans – divided by race\, gender\, and background – do the same in this world? Or is this hope merely a fragile dream? These thoughts played an important role in our approach to this show. The two of us come from different backgrounds and generations and we each employ distinct mediums to create our art. In this show we wanted to celebrate our individual perspectives while simultaneously highlighting our shared appreciation for the natural world and the intrinsic harmony of life. This includes animals such as spiders\, scorpions\, camel spiders\, vinegaroons\, tailless whip scorpions\, pseudoscorpions\, etc… Meet arachnid experts\, visit the Bohart research collection\, make crafts\, and have fun learning. This is a free event\, as is the parking.

DESCRIPTION:Come join our free Tummy Time Class\, every Tuesday from 1:00-2:00pm at Davis Parent Nursery School. The goal of this meetup is to provide a space for parents with newborns to connect with other parents from the community. Moms\, Dads\, and all caretakers welcome. Siblings are not able to join at this time. We are here to support YOU and your baby! No pre-registration needed\, simply show up. Led by our wonderful teacher\, Annie Ramirez. \n  \nThis program will be ongoing through the school year\, except for school breaks.
