As a child I gathered wildflowers and imagined their petals as silken ball gowns\, and that sense of play informs how I approach my artwork. I don’t just paint flowers; I paint the memories they evoke. I am drawn to the fleeting magical beauty of blooms. The transparency and fluidity of watercolor makes it ideal for capturing the subtle gradients of petals\, leaves and stems\, and it is these qualities that create the aura for organic and vibrant florals. Through this series of floral paintings I want to share the beauty of flowers\, and my fond memories of them\, with others.” \nAfter moving to Davis in 1974 Jerri Chamberlain dedicated her career to education by serving as a para-educator teaching reading. After she retired she painted with watercolors and oils as a creative outlet in order to maintain an active\, inquisitive mind. Her pieces have been shown at the Pence Gallery\, The Paint Chip\, and the annual Art Farm Gala. Each session will cover important topics like: \nPreparing for labor and delivery\, and addressing pregnancy-related concerns\nAdjusting to life with a newborn\, including sleep\, feeding\, and bonding tips\nNavigating the emotional ups and downs of early parenting\nSelf-care strategies for new parents\nBuilding a strong support network with others on the same journey\nIn addition to the open discussions\, we are thrilled to have birth and postpartum healthcare professionals available to answer your questions and provide expert guidance on breastfeeding\, baby care\, and postpartum recovery. \nThis group is more than just a meeting—it’s a chance to build lasting friendships\, share wisdom\, and celebrate the milestones of your parenting journey together.
