In fact\, this kind\nof grief can take us by surprise because we feel the effects of grief even while trying to ignore what’s coming. And our grief is compounded because it’s not only death that worries us\, but so do all the changes that are coming—physical and mental decline\, shrinking social circles\, financial concerns\, and loss of dreams and plans. Whether you’re a patient\, a family member\, or close friend\, this support group is designed to help you process what you’re feeling\, find companionship and perspective from others\, and find a pathway forward with dignity and even hope for a meaningful parting and transition to the next stage of your journey.

The Board are elected Members who help ensure the long term success of our co-op. You do not need to be a Member to attend Breakfast with the Board. \nThis Urban & Farm Market falls during Plastic Free July\, a global movement to reduce single use plastics. In order to reduce the amount of plastic this event generates\, we’ve asked vendors to use compostable or reusable sampling materials.

Grief doesn’t affect us only after a major loss or death; it’s something we experience when we know a loss is coming. In fact\, this kind\nof grief can take us by surprise because we feel the effects of grief even while trying to ignore what’s coming. And our grief is compounded because it’s not only death that worries us\, but so do all the changes that are coming—physical and mental decline\, shrinking social circles\, financial concerns\, and loss of dreams and plans. Whether you’re a patient\, a family member\, or close friend\, this support group is designed to help you process what you’re feeling\, find companionship and perspective from others\, and find a pathway forward with dignity and even hope for a meaningful parting and transition to the next stage of your journey.

Taodzera of UC Davis and Duduzile “Dee” Zondo-Goins\, who was a student-leader in the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa in the 1970s.\n\nListen\, learn and be inspired to make a difference! \nPopcorn bar and dessert will be served.  \nMandela Day is an annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honor the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for individuals\, communities\, and organizations to take time to reflect on Mandela’s values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities. \n
