DESCRIPTION:City of Davis Hosts Candlelight Parade and New Winter Wonderland on December 4 \nThe City of Davis invites the community to attend the 44th annual Candlelight Parade and newly re-envisioned Winter Wonderland event on Thursday\, Dec. 4\, from 6-8:30 p.m. This year\, the festivities will be headquartered in the G Street area\, between Second and Third Streets that is already closed to motor vehicles. The City is refreshing its annual tradition to feature winter lights that honor the beauty of the season. All are welcome to join the City for a festive gathering! \nStarting promptly at 6 p.m.\, the Candlelight Parade will kick off from the Davis Food Co-op parking lot (620 G Street) and conclude on G Street\, between Second and Third Streets. Families and residents of all ages interested in participating in the Parade should arrive before 5:45 p.m. in the Co-op parking lot. Parade parking will not be available in the Food Co-op parking lot. Rolling street closures will be occurring for the Parade through downtown Davis\, including at Fifth Street. As a result\, drivers should expect delays up to 20 minutes. \nOnce the parade arrives at G Street\, between Second and Third Streets\, there will be a countdown for the Winter Wonderland led by Davis City Council\, that will include winter lights and other celebratory decorations. \nIn addition to the Winter lights\, the following activities will be available: \n– Performances and original pieces performed by a variety of local groups starting at 6 p.m. at G Street\n– Horse and carriage rides at G Street\n– Roaming mascot characters\n– Photo op with Frosty the Snowman with the City’s historic fire truck starting at 6:30 p.m. at G Street\n– Free showings of the short film “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” at 6 p.m.\, 6:40 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. at the Varsity Theatre\n– And more \nIn addition\, the Davis Downtown Business Association (DDBA) is providing a tree display at the E Street Plaza. The repertoire is a harmonious combination of solos and full choir pieces before the seniors say their goodbyes with one last song. DESCRIPTION:DECEMBER 5th & 6th\, 2025 \nJoin us for the 57th Annual Madrigal Dinner and an evening of festive music and holiday entertainment by the Davis Senior High School Madrigal Choir! Doors open at 5:45 PM\, giving guests time to purchase raffle tickets and mocktails before the 6:30 PM program. \nEstablished in 1968\, the Madrigal Dinner is one of the Davis community’s longest running and most beloved holiday traditions. This annual event is arranged by the choir and celebrates Yuletide festivities as they would have been experienced during Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I reign. Along with a full-course meal and grand performance\, the event includes a silent auction and the perfect opportunity for interested junior high students to perform alongside the choir. The repertoire is a harmonious combination of solos and full choir pieces before the seniors say their goodbyes with one last song. This year’s feast will be held at the Brunelle Performance Hall at Davis Senior High. \n  \n$60 for Dinner Seating\, $20 for Auditorium Seating

DESCRIPTION:Davis Craft and Vintage Fair began as the Square Tomatoes Craft Fair more than 10 years ago! The event was started by instructors from the UC Davis Craft Center in order to have a monthly craft fair for local artisans and the local community. We embraced local vintage vendors in 2017\, we’ve grown and we are still home to local artists and makers from the Davis and greater Sacramento area. \nWe collaborate with local non-profits starting with Couleurs Vives Art Studio who joined us in 2018! Many of our talented vendors can be found at other festivals like the Davis Phoenix Coalition’s Pride Fest\, the I-House’s International Festival\, and 2nd Friday Art Abouts on E Street Plaza! \nExpect to see friendly vendors with local handmade and original art\, crafts\, quality vintage items\, upcycled treasures\, earth-friendly creations\, good food\, and more! Free live music fills the open space for a lively atmosphere so be sure to stop by and join us!  \n
