VARIOUS LOCATIONS. Shop at one of these locations in the month of October and a portion of the sales will go to Thriving Pink: Davis Ace Hardware, DAVIS FOOD CO-OP, Circle Z Farms, Woodland Police Department (Pink Patches), Kohakutou Candy Sales, Trifecta Beauty, Mainstage Dispensary.
RECOLOGY DAVIS. Limit four 11″ x 14″ file boxes per customer. Residents can come to the shred event via bike or vehicle, but in order to ensure safety, pedestrians are not allowed to enter the event area. Closes once shredding truck is full. 9a–12p. Free

CENTRAL PARK. The Davis Phoenix Coalition brings together families, community members, & businesses from Davis to teach elementary aged youth how to stand UP to bullying with games & prizes. Bring the kids! 10a–1p. Free
4th & K STREET. Community painting event restoring this intersection with a mural designed by Davis artist Mark Rivera. 10a—5p. Free

DPNS. This autumn tradition is back with carnival games, prizes, pumpkin decorating, face painting, food, live music, a petting zoo, bake sale, chili cook-off, photo booth, baby goats and more. 3p—6p. $4—8
