We recommend the Molten VBU12 for divisions 7-8\, 9-10 and 11-12 or IVU-BLU for division 13-15 because they are good quality\, official size volleyballs with a soft cover. \n

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, September 16\, Stories on Stage Davis will open its 10th season at the Pence Art Gallery in downtown Davis. Doors open at 7 p.m.\, and the event starts at 7:30. The event is free to attend and donations at the door are much appreciated. \nAt the event\, two local actors will read two stories by local authors. An excerpt from the novel Rhino Dreams by Kathryn Williams and Carolyn Waggoner will be read by returning actor Patricia Glass\, and the short story “Talking Fowl with My Father” from The Bigness of the World by Lori Ostlund will be read by returning Stories on Stage Davis actor Jessica Laskey. There will be beverages\, sweets\, and opportunities to purchase books and get them signed by the authors! \nStories on Stage Davis is a sponsored project of  YoloArts\, a non-profit arts organization\, and is supported by the 2022 City of Davis Arts Grant (funded by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation\, a California Non-Profit Corporation).  \n

SUMMARY:US Youth Volleyball League
DESCRIPTION:Boys and girls ages 7-15\, for beginner\, intermediate and experienced players.\n(co-ed league divided into four divisions: ages 7-8\, 9-10\, 11-12 and 13-15)\nDivisions are determined by child’s age on November 1\, 2023. \nLeague is directed by a Clinician (Head Volleyball Coach) who organizes\, instructs\, supervises and maintains volunteer coaches in the instruction of each team.\nClinician (Head Volleyball Coach) has experience playing and/or coaching volleyball at the high school\, club\, college or higher level. \nRegistration fee includes a t-shirt and a medal.\nPlayers should bring their volleyball. We recommend the Molten VBU12 for divisions 7-8\, 9-10 and 11-12 or IVU-BLU for division 13-15 because they are good quality\, official size volleyballs with a soft cover. \n
