This autumn tradition is back with carnival games\, prizes\, pumpkin decorating\, face painting\, food\, live music\, a petting zoo\, bake sale\, chili cook-off\, photo booth\, baby goats and more. \nJoin the fun 3-6 p.m.\, Saturday\, Oct. 21 at Davis Parent Nursery School\, 426 W 8th St. in Davis. \nAdmission is $4 for adults and $8 for kids\, which includes 1 pumpkin and 5 game tickets\nAdditional game tickets\, food\, chili and baked goods will also be for sale via cash\, card or Venmo. \nThis is an annual fundraiser to benefit Davis Parent Nursery School\, a nonprofit\, play-based parent-coop preschool. \n

Mais Bossa plays the classics and deep cuts of the bossa nova era along with Brazilian inspired takes on American favorites. A native of Goiânia\, vocalist Marcia Jacomo fronts the band with her angelic and playful voice. The rhythmic heartbeat is supplied by the Brazilian master of percussion Alex Calatayud. Patrick Langham of legendary local bands Boca do Rio and Big Sticky Mess plays bass. Billy Larkin brings decades of jazz piano experience with his delightfully unique arrangements. \nTickets are $20.
