Night Market at the Pence \nEvent: June 13\, 6 – 9 PM \nApplication deadline: May 23\, 5 PM \n  \nThis pop-up market during the 2nd Friday ArtAbout invites young visual artists\, ages 16-25\, to display and sell their artwork inside the gallery\, ranging from prints and paintings\, to ceramics and jewelry\, and more. It’s free to apply!  \n  \nArtists who are interested in participating must fill out an online application. The Pence provides an indoor venue at $25/accepted artist (no fee for Pence Members!)\, which must be paid prior to the event. Artists must bring their own table to display their work\, but the Pence will provide chairs. All art sales are handled by participants\, and all proceeds go directly to the artist. Please note that space is limited\, and applications are due by 5 PM of May 23. DESCRIPTION:Davis Craft and Vintage Fair began as the Square Tomatoes Craft Fair more than 10 years ago! The event was started by instructors from the UC Davis Craft Center in order to have a monthly craft fair for local artisans and the local community. We embraced local vintage vendors in 2017\, we’ve grown and we are still home to local artists and makers from the Davis and greater Sacramento area. \nWe collaborate with local non-profits starting with Couleurs Vives Art Studio who joined us in 2018! Many of our talented vendors can be found at other festivals like the Davis Phoenix Coalition’s Pride Fest\, the I-House’s International Festival\, and 2nd Friday Art Abouts on E Street Plaza! \nExpect to see friendly vendors with local handmade and original art\, crafts\, quality vintage items\, upcycled treasures\, earth-friendly creations\, good food\, and more! Free live music fills the open space for a lively atmosphere so be sure to stop by and join us!  \n

DESCRIPTION:Davis Craft and Vintage Fair began as the Square Tomatoes Craft Fair more than 10 years ago! The event was started by instructors from the UC Davis Craft Center in order to have a monthly craft fair for local artisans and the local community. We embraced local vintage vendors in 2017\, we’ve grown and we are still home to local artists and makers from the Davis and greater Sacramento area. \nWe collaborate with local non-profits starting with Couleurs Vives Art Studio who joined us in 2018! Many of our talented vendors can be found at other festivals like the Davis Phoenix Coalition’s Pride Fest\, the I-House’s International Festival\, and 2nd Friday Art Abouts on E Street Plaza! \nExpect to see friendly vendors with local handmade and original art\, crafts\, quality vintage items\, upcycled treasures\, earth-friendly creations\, good food\, and more! Free live music fills the open space for a lively atmosphere so be sure to stop by and join us!  \n
