DESCRIPTION:The Davis Odd Fellows Hall is located at 415 2nd St. in downtown Davis. Doors open at 7PM. The show starts at 7:30PM. Our shows are donation only with all donations going to the musicians. Please donate generously. \nBroken Compass Bluegrass emerged in 2021 and quickly gained recognition for their tight arrangements\, tasteful picking\, and standout songwriting. Hailing from Northern California\, the band features Kyle Ledson\, Django Ruckrich\, Mei Lin Heirendt\, and Sam Jacobs. Though young in years\, each member is a seasoned performer\, accomplished multi-instrumentalist\, and prolific songwriter. Together\, they’ve established themselves as one of California’s most exciting and fast-rising string bands. \nIn just a few years\, they’ve graced the stages of premier festivals such as High Sierra Music Festival\, Strawberry Music Festival\, WinterWonderGrass\, and Bluegrass in La Roche (France)\, among many others. \nBroken Compass Bluegrass is leading the way in the contemporary bluegrass revival\, combining tradition with innovation in a way that appeals to both longtime fans and new listeners alike. Their live performances are characterized by tight harmonies\, truly impressive solos\, and an undeniable joy that permeates with every note they play. The band’s repertoire includes numerous original compositions as well as fresh takes on timeless classics\, all delivered with their own distinctive style. Whether you’re a die-hard bluegrass aficionado or just looking for some foot-stomping fun\, Broken Compass Bluegrass is sure to leave you spellbound and inspired. \nOur bar will be open selling beer\, wine\, and other beverages.
