DESCRIPTION:Capay Valley Grown Open Farm Day brings farmers and visitors together for a day of exploration\, learning\, and celebration. On October 4\, 2026\, farms across the valley will open their gates to guests looking to connect with the land\, meet growers\, and discover the people and practices that make Capay Valley agriculture thrive. Open Farm Day is self-guided — explore at your own pace. This hands-on event is perfect for families\, food lovers\, agricultural learners\, and anyone curious about where their food comes from. \nParticipating Farms include:\nPolestar Farm – soap making workshops\, farm tours and farm stand open\nVitis & Ovis – birds\, bees & pollinator workshops\, farm tours and farm stand open\nGrumpy Goats- Olive oil tasting\, olive harvester demos\nCapay Hills Orchards- orchard tours\, stone ground almond butter demos\nD&G Pumpkin Patch – Pumpkin Patch\, Pumpkin Succulent workshop\, coffee truck\nSuntracker Farm – farm tours and farm stand open\nThe event is FREE but an RSVP is encouraged so we know how many people plan to attend AND so we can send you the map directly (will be available by September 15). \nTo RSVP and learn more visit capay-valley-grown.com/open-farm-day \nThis event is hosted in partnership with the 35th Annual Hoes Down Harvest Festival on October 3\, 2026 at Full Belly Farm.
