This non-juried exhibition is open to the first 30 Artists who deliver their artwork to Gallery 625\, and each participating Artist will have an artwork and a photo of themselves in their studio on display. \nIt’s a surprise which Artists will be included\, so join us at the opening reception to find out which artworks are on display! \nThe opening reception will be held on Friday\, September 4\, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments\, Yolo County wine\, and live music by Jon Spivack will round out the evening. \nInside the Artist’s Studio will be on view at Gallery 625 from September 4 through October 30\, 2026. \nGallery 625 is located at 625 Court Street in Woodland\, in Yolo County’s Erwin Meier Administration building and is open Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm. This group is for both experienced artists and amateurs to have an opportunity to draw from the nude model. If you have never drawn from a live model before and would like to join us\, you are very welcome! People of all skill levels\, ages 18 and up\, are welcome and encouraged to join. \nThis is not a class\, and no instruction is provided. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-competitive. Bring your own art materials\, and we’ll provide a comfortable place to sketch or paint live models in our upstairs classroom space. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening reception of our 19th Annual Art Farm exhibition featuring Art Harvest and Juried Silent Auction artwork. \nYolo Arts is pleased to be celebrating our Art Farm exhibition with an opening reception on September 17th\, 2026 from 5:30-8:00pm. This exhibition features Northern California artists and artwork inspired by the farmlands of Yolo County. Come and join us as we celebrate the wide variety of artwork entered into the Art Harvest and the Juried Silent Auction! The evening will also feature local wine and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public. \nThe evening reception will include the 6:30 p.m. announcement of the juried prize winners by guest juror Bryan Valenzuela. Three artists will receive cash prizes for Best in Show\, Best in Plein Air and Best in Photography. \nThe Art Farm season will conclude with a fun art fest celebration event on Saturday\, October 17 from 2-5:30 pm at the Gibson House property in Woodland. Start with decorative art papers and string to create your own flock of birds\, and then add simple and fun touches using washi tape\, feathers\, and more. \nHow it works:\nArt in Action engages kids in art projects that are fun\, creative\, and collaborative with their family members. This is a drop-in program for ages 5-12. DESCRIPTION:Figure Drawing Group\nWednesday\, September 23\, 6:30-9 PM\n$15 Members\, $22 Non-Members | Limited to 10 participants\nRegistration & payment is required in advance through the Pence’s website. \nWe hold self-guided figure drawing sessions with a nude model every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month\, from 6:30-9 PM. This group is for both experienced artists and amateurs to have an opportunity to draw from the nude model. If you have never drawn from a live model before and would like to join us\, you are very welcome! People of all skill levels\, ages 18 and up\, are welcome and encouraged to join. \nThis is not a class\, and no instruction is provided. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-competitive. Bring your own art materials\, and we’ll provide a comfortable place to sketch or paint live models in our upstairs classroom space. Participants will work independently through a warm up with shorter poses and longer\, twenty-minute poses.
