PENCE GALLERY. Wood’s captivating watercolor paintings are on display this spring. Wood portrays the dreamy interior world of women lost in thought or asleep, complete with stars, moons, and other signs of the cosmos. Free
PENCE GALLERY. Susan Brady’s landscapes are a hybrid of painting, collage, and photography. Originating with a digital image, her work builds upon the photograph by collaging layers of handmade papers, dye, and oil paint. 11:30a–5p. Free
GALLERY 625. Student showcase features a group exhibition of the WCC Kingsley Merit Scholarship finalists along with the work of students from the Woodland Community College art program. M-F, 8a—5p. Free
PENCE GALLERY. 2-day workshop guided by artist Franca Van Allen. Participants will experiment with gel plates, creating collages with a focus on composition, texture, and mark making. Working with oil pastels and wax-based crayons, students will also learn various resist and embossing techniques to create unique monoprints. 12p—4p. $160 Members, $170 Non-Members

All proceeds from this sale, which takes place at the gallery, support the Pence’s exhibits and education programs. PENCE GALLERY. Sayako Dairiki approaches painting with a focus on mindfulness. Following her adoption of sashiko, or visible mending to fix holes in several of her garments and blankets, Sayako began to echo the stitching pattern on canvas. Free
PENCE GALLERY. Six-part watercolor painting class with artist Misuk Goltz.
