DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Pence Gallery for our 2nd Friday ArtAbout reception on August 12\, 6-9 PM (free admission). We have three incredible exhibits on display that are ending soon after\, so don’t miss this chance to see them! Check out our current exhibits: \n  \nSlice: A Juried Exhibit of Regional Art \nSlice is a display of contemporary art in all media that celebrates artists from all over California. This year’s juror is Chris Daubert\, artist\, writer\, and curator\, who chose pieces that are conceptually thoughtful\, technically skilled\, and representative of contemporary trends in art. On display through August 17. \n  \nFound \nThis exhibit features sculptures by various contemporary artists\, fabricated by assembling discarded or recycled objects into a cohesive whole. On display through August 14. \n  \nExhibit It! A Community Art Exhibit \nThis non-juried exhibit showcases the talent of 50 of our community’s artists. You can vote in-person for your favorite Exhibit It! artist to win the Public Choice award. On display through August 14. \n  \n— \n  \nBrowse our exhibits and gift shop\, and explore other art venues in Downtown Davis.
