DESCRIPTION:Paint your own pottery with DCG! We are thrilled to offer this painting experience as part of the wide variety of creative events at DCG. \nPay a $8 studio fee to choose from 100s of unpainted ceramics! We provide a wide variety of paints and brushes to help you decorate your one of a kind pottery. You can paint as many pieces as you like! We will ring you up at the end of your painting time for all the pieces you selected. The finished pieces then get taken to our pottery studio\, glazed\, and fired in a kiln. They are ready to be picked up one week later! \n

SUMMARY:Art in Action Family Art Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Art in Action Family Art Workshops: \nThe Pence Gallery invites children and their families to participate in our family art workshops! Art in Action engages kids in art projects that are fun\, creative\, and collaborative with their family members. This is a drop-in program for ages 5-12\, with no pre-registration required. Projects are designed to introduce kids to making their own artwork by experimenting with creative ideas and materials. Our resident art teacher will introduce you to the wealth of possibilities in our upstairs classroom. \n  \nHow it works: \nPay at the door with cash or card. There is a fee per child of $4 for Pence Members or $8 for Non-Members. A parent or adult caregiver is required to stay\, but only has to pay for the project if they are also doing art. Stay as long or as short as you like over the two hour period. (Become a Member starting at $65/year and save!)  \n  \n(What a) Relief Printmaking | October 22\, 1 – 3 PM: \nPrintmaking made easy!
