DESCRIPTION:Davis Craft and Vintage Fair began as the Square Tomatoes Craft Fair more than 10 years ago! The event was started by instructors from the UC Davis Craft Center in order to have a monthly craft fair for local artisans and the local community. We embraced local vintage vendors in 2017\, we’ve grown and we are still home to local artists and makers from the Davis and greater Sacramento area. \nWe collaborate with local non-profits starting with Couleurs Vives Art Studio who joined us in 2018! Many of our talented vendors can be found at other festivals like the Davis Phoenix Coalition’s Pride Fest\, the I-House’s International Festival\, and 2nd Friday Art Abouts on E Street Plaza! \nExpect to see friendly vendors with local handmade and original art\, crafts\, quality vintage items\, upcycled treasures\, earth-friendly creations\, good food\, and more! Free live music fills the open space for a lively atmosphere so be sure to stop by and join us!  \n

DESCRIPTION:Art in Action: Wonderful Winter Creations\nSunday\, December 7\, 1-3 PM\n$5 Members\, $10 Non-Members (all materials included)\nIt’s time for cozy\, winter-inspired crafts! Make winter-themed cloth napkins\, decorative pinecones\, and snowflake ornaments using a variety of materials\, including fabric paint\, foam\, stamps\, beads\, wire\, and more. \nHow it works:\nArt in Action engages kids in art projects that are fun\, creative\, and collaborative with their family members. This is a drop-in program\, for ages 5-12\, with no registration required. When you arrive\, pay with cash or card at the front desk. A parent or adult caregiver is required to stay\, but only has to pay for the project for themselves if they are also doing art. Stay as long or as short as you like over the two hour period. Space and supplies are limited to the first 25 participants and are available on a first come\, first served basis. \nWe have a different Art in Action family workshop every month!
