DESCRIPTION:Sculpt and decorate your own clay cup! Using a hand-building technique called darting\, students will learn how to remove clay from a slab and fold the edges to form the base of their cup – creating an interesting shape that can be applied to other ceramic projects. After shaping the cup\, students will finish it by applying a colorful glaze of their choice\, making the cup both functional and food safe. All materials provided\, just bring your creativity! This is a two-day workshop and attendance is required for both. The first day focuses on building the cup\, and the second day is dedicated to glazing.
